Zone of the Enders 2 Gets an Updated Release Window and New Trailer

Konami has been developing a remake of PS2 shooter Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner for a while now, and has recently issued a brief update for the game on Twitter. Originally, the remake was going to be released around the current time, in the spring of 2018; now, Konami has confirmed a later release in September 2018.

In addition to PC and PS4 versions of the game, Konami is developing a version of the game for VR (again, both on PC and PSVR), and featuring first-person modes for players. All versions of Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner will have advanced graphics, 4K resolution, and surround sound support with new sound design. Further details on the remake’s features will be announced at a later date, and in the meantime Konami released a new trailer comparing the old game to the new with its 4K resolution. Glenn Carreau: Hi! I'm Glenn: recent college grad specializing in interactive arts and media, writer, game creator and connoisseur, pop culture junkie, and semi-professional fan-artist and blogger. In my free time, I function as an unnecessarily specific gaming encyclopedia. I also play the violin, binge crime/detective procedural shows (still not sure why), and do a large amount of digital painting. I'm probably too attached to Dragon Age, but not really inclined to do anything about it. I'm a huge fan of cosplay, foxes, the prose of Jenny Lawson, and Strong Female Characters™.
