Sudoku games just got their newest upgrade. Indie Game Developer Zach Gage, well known for his SpellTower puzzle video game, and Game Designer, Writer, and Composer Jack Schlesinger have announced their newest puzzle game, Good Sudoku. The game is set to release on July 23rd on iOS devices and has unique features that simplifies and educates iOS users on the concepts of Sudoku.
The main feature of the game is how meticulously it is designed for any users to own an immersive experience. Unlike previous Sudoku games in the App Store, this one is “ a sudoku made with love” and “that loves you” – stated on the Good Sudoku website. The game has a supportive Artificial Intelligence (AI), which helps users to learn and play the classic game of Sudoku. It also includes challenging puzzles that generate over 70,000 of the highest quality puzzles that it has to offer, which the team “spent weeks figuring out how to generate intricate and complex puzzles that require wild techniques” – stated on the website.

The second feature includes a practice mode and hint system. Players may choose their difficulties ranging from easy, medium, and hard, but the game provides practice outside of regular puzzles and hints explaining the techniques necessary for each difficulty. This means users new to Sudoku can learn how to solve a particular puzzle, understand what the process is, and why that was the answer. In addition, the game provides simple tools that eliminate tedious calculations between columns and rows. The simple user interface allows users to focus more on solving the puzzle quicker and practice the techniques taught to them beforehand. Good Sudoku, therefore, is a friendly app that provides any user the experience they need to enjoy the traditional game of Sudoku.
