The Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct will be streaming on the same day according to a recent Xbox Wire blog post early Wednesday morning. The two events will be live-streamed on June 11 as a double feature, with the Xbox Games Showcase airing first. With the cancellation of E3 2023, individual game companies are continuing the trend to host separate events for their showcases.
The Xbox Games Showcase will give a detailed first look into Xbox’s upcoming titles from Microsoft’s “talented internal studios” for Xbox, PC, and Game Pass. The Starfield Direct will give gamers an inside look at Bethesda’s hotly anticipated sci-fi rpg Starfield, showcasing new “gameplay, developer interviews, and behind-the-scenes insider information.”
Following the double feature, an Xbox Games Showcase Extended will air on June 13, with even more interviews revolving around news from the Xbox Games Showcase and game updates from Xbox partners.
The Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct double feature will be streamed on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook through various outlets and in “over 30 languages.” Air times for the Xbox Games Showcase vary by region, starting at 10 am PST, 1 pm for EST, 6 pm BST, 7 pm for CET, 4 am JST, and 5 am AEST. American Sign Language and British Sign Language streams will also be available, alongside “English Audio Descriptions.” Xbox Games Showcase Extended start times begin at 10 AM PT, 1 PM ET, 6 PM BST, 7 PM CET for June 13 and 4 AM JST, 5 AM AEST for June 14.
