Wuthering Waves 3.4 “The Dream Not Dreamed” launching June 8th

Wuthering Waves, the free-to-play open world role-playing gacha game published and developed by Kuro Games, has now officially turned 2 years old. Well, it turned 2 on May 23rd, so happy belated birthday. But now we must continue our journey into 3.4, the next update titled “The Dream Not Dreamed.” And this one is stacking up to be one of the biggest updates yet, with an all-new story beat, new character Lucilla, and the long-awaited collaboration of Wuthering Waves and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. And with it, we get two characters: Lucy, who you will be able to pull, and, for logging in during the 3.4 update, Rovers will be able to claim a free Rebecca for their account. The 3.4 update will be available for PC, consoles, and mobile on June 8th (UTC+8)
So in the brand-new trailer for Wuthering Waves 3.4, we get a good look at the new character, Lucilla, and how she plays. She has an interesting playstyle, with combat centered around her camera, flashing enemies, and dual-wielding blades. She is a Glacio character, so if you are farming echoes, Glacio is the way to go. We also see a bit of her role in the story, where she tells Rover they need to leave the Academy, and the Rovers discuss the reasoning behind the Academy’s very construction. Hence, it looks like we will be learning more about Rover’s memories and the Academy’s history. And then the biggest part of the trailer hits, and that’s the collaboration with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, and how they make it into the world of Wuthering Waves, and it looks interesting as it looks like reality is breaking, and it’s up to the heroes to save the day. We get a good look at Lucy and Rebecca’s combat, and they look straight out of the show. Hats off to Kuro Games for staying true to the source material when it comes to collab characters.

Wuthering Waves 3.4 looks to be one of their biggest updates yet, and it has so many people on the edge of their seats. A lot of the hype is built up due to the collaboration with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. As with last year, the collaboration was announced on the game’s first anniversary, so it’s a long time coming. If you want to get a complete rundown of the update, you can visit here. Overall, players, including myself, are excited for this new update, as it launches June 8th (UTC+8) for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. So mark your calendars, as it looks to be a big day for Wuthering Waves.
