World of Tanks: HEAT Officially Releasing May 26 for PC and Consoles

World of Tanks: HEAT, the free-to-play hero shooter-style tank game by Wargaming, has now officially revealed its release date with brand new trailer. The game will be dropping on May 26 for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, and you can wishlist it now on your preferred platform.
World of Tanks: Heat is a departure from classic tank warfare in favor of a new experience where you will get to choose an agent, a tank, and be able to combine strategy and skills in either 5v5 or 10v10. The game itself is set in an alternate reality after World War 2 where atomic warfare is abandoned in favor of scientific triumph and innovation. World of Tanks: Heat will launch with 8 agents, each with different roles, such as sharpshooting marksmen, tanky defenders, and offensive assault. Each agent will come with a two-vehicle roster that will differentiate each agent. The game will launch with 8 different maps and four different PvP modes, with one of the modes called ” Kill Confirmed”. With the game set in an alternate reality, it can bring faster-paced combat to the standard tank gameplay. All tanks are customizable, and you will be able to add new equipment and modules to build your own tank play style truly.

World of Tanks: Heat looks to be truly trying to set itself apart from the other tank games with the ability to not only choose and customize your own tank, but you will also get to choose agents to help create a unique playstyle for yourself. The game is free to play, so if you’re on the fence about trying it out, don’t be. The game is free, so you don’t have to buy in to try the game out for yourself. The game is currently available to be wishlisted on PC and consoles, and the release date itself is right around the corner, so you don’t have to wait too long to jump into this tank mania of a game.

Jorge Peredo: Growing up, I've always been fascinated by storytelling, whether through reading, watching, or playing video games. Having been exposed to storytelling for so long, I have been influenced, and through that influence, I seek to write and create my own stories that others can enjoy and that I can be proud of.
