Developer CI Games has maintained a steady stream of DLC and updates for Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 ever since it’s release due to them constantly fixing bugs and frame rate issues and has admitted the the title has caused a bit of adversity for them. “The Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 project has been the most difficult challenge we have ever taken on as we’ve worked tirelessly to fix bugs, release DLC and now we’ve almost completed development of the multiplayer part of this project.”
But now the developer has confirmed that they are continuing the support into the new year with a big multiplayer update that is set to arrive on January 26, 2018. The developer did state that they are sorry that they couldn’t get the update out before the end of the year but, that they worked hard to ensure that they could get the content out as fast as they could.
“We’re very sorry that we couldn’t make it before the end of the year but rest assured that we have done our best to make sure you won’t have to wait much longer. We are happy to announce that you will finally be able to download the multiplayer update on January 26 2018 on all formats, worldwide.”
The new update will introduce three brand new game modes; Bounty Hunter, Sharpshooter, and Classic Team Deathmatch. It will also bring about four new maps, and 2 separate maps that are exclusive to players who purchased the season pass. On top of that player can expect over ten new weapons, gadgets, and 15 different character types each with varying outfits suited for the different environments that they will be combating in.
