WEBCAST: IGN Expo Day 1

In lieu of E3 not happening this year, IGN has partnered with a plethora of developers and publishers to stream and debut new game reveals, trailers, developer interviews, gameplay demos, and much more. After a short postponement of a few days due to ongoing the civil unrest in the United States, IGN returns today with the first day of their IGN Expo for their Summer of Gaming event. There’s plenty to be excited about as, with no E3, this summer will be full of all sorts of gaming news and updates!

According to IGN’s Summer of Gaming schedule, there will be a lot happening today. Prior to the event, there will be a charity live stream featuring a speed run challenge of Doom Eternal by Xamide. Then, once the event starts, IGN is getting straight into it with loads of reveals, trailers, and more.

IGN will unveil new games from Merge Games, Fabraz, Funcom, and Arcade 1Up. There will also be a plethora of new trailers for upcoming games from various studios. The new trailers include the following games: Beyond Blue from E-Line Media, Chivalry 2 from Torn Banner and Tripwire, Dual Universe from Novaquark, Pathfinder: Kingmaker and Wasteland 3 from Deep Silver, Voidtrain from Nearga,  and Werewolf: The Apocalypse from Nacon.

Then, IGN will also be hosting gameplay demos and previews for a bunch of games. Gameplay reveals and demos include GTFO from 10 Chambers Collective, Mortal Shell from Cold Symmetry, Observer: System Redux from Blooper Team, Second Extinction from Systemic Reaction, and Yakuza: Like a Dragon from Sega. There will also be previews for Borderlands 3‘s upcoming DLC and The Waylanders.

There is also an interview with David Hayter the voice of Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid franchise set to happen as part of IGN’s Special Icons interview series. Plus, a lot more we may not know about.
