The year is 1999 and it’s your first day at Plane Airlines as a flight attendant. You will need to check tickets, board passengers, and ensure their flight is as smooth as possible–after all, it may be their last.
The job is never ending and has no limits, no matter where passengers need assistance, you have to be there to help. Plane Airlines must keep up their image, and that means employees are expected to do everything in their power to keep customers satisfied while maintaining professionalism, as you represent the company at all times. No plane ride has ever gone completely smoothly, “Whether it is annoying passengers, falling suitcases or [REDACTED], the company expects you to remain calm and continue service with a smile.”
One of the most important duties of your position is the ability to weed out the passengers who don’t belong; Plane Airlines only serves human customers. The ones who need to be dealt with are shape-shifting entities, they seem normal, but that is why extensive measures are essential to take when checking tickets. Check for abnormal features, strange behavior, and/or odd conversations. Should a demon slip past you and end up on board, you do have a chance to redeem yourself by dealing with them in a simple way: remove them from the plane by any means necessary. Remember, “The company will not be held accountable for any mistakes you make. You live with them.”
Developers Liquid Static Studio and Snapping Turtle have made a second game in their Night Shifts franchise, which takes usual job simulators and adds a supernatural element to them. This game follows their signature PSX-inspired art direction, giving it a true 1990s feel, and has multiple endings available depending on player’s choices.
Night Plane is available to wishlist on Steam now and is expected to release this fall.
