For fans of RPG simulator games like Stardew Valley, they might enjoy the upcoming magical farming simulator, Alchemic Cutie. While this game has been in the works for a while before being announced at PAX East last year, last week it was announced at the New Game+ Expo stream that it would be coming out this summer.
In Alchemic Cutie, players will be one of the many inhabitants of Wimba Island. They will be able to explore this huge island, find Jellies, meet villagers, enter competitions, and more. One of the main gameplay aspects is the ability of players to tame wild jellies that they will encounter during their exploration of the island.
Once they tame a few, players can then try their hand at raising Jellies. This system will generate unique Jellies with different stats and aesthetics for players to choose which Jelly they want to adventure with. With these Jellies, players can also enter competitions against other villagers to earn medals and figure out who has the best Jelly.
Players will also meet and be able to talk to villagers during their journey. Some of these villagers might be hiding some secrets so it is up to the player to undertake various quests to weasel it out of them. There will also be a magic/ alchemy system in place where players can use a magical flute to create special, powerful items.
Some other cool, smaller details Alchemic Cutie has to offer is a season system that will alter how the island looks as well as uncovering new areas and Jellies with the changing seasons. There will also be modding support and a way to share Jellies with friends through a code-sharing mechanism.
Alchemic Cutie will release on July 27 and will be a timed exclusive for the PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. More details are available on the Steam page.
