Unknown Games Newest Strategy Game Moonbreaker revealed at Gamescom Opening Night

Moonbreaker is a new game by Unknown games which is known for making the Subnautica games. The new game was revealed on Gamescom Opening Night Live.

 Moonbreaker is a turn-based tabletop strategy game that can be played PvP, PvE, or single-player. This game is set in a retro sci-fi universe that was made by “best-selling sci-fi and fantasy author” Brandon Sanderson. This game will support 9 languages but English is the only one with audio. Moonbreaker is,

 designed to be a true digital miniatures experience, set in an expansive sci-fi universe crafted by best-selling sci-fi and fantasy author, Brandon Sanderson. Through accessible turn-based competitive gameplay, ongoing content releases, and deep customization, Moonbreaker offers a variety of gameplay experiences for all types of players.

Players can play Moonbreaker online or offline and use ship assists, roster makeup, and knowing the maps to defeat their opponents. The crew members and the captains can be unlocked by playing the game there will be 50 units to start off the game The roster will have assists, crew, and a captain that will be picked out by the player to be on their team. There will be more members added to the roster every season. Players will be able to paint their units in the game by using the paint tool.

There will also be two free previews of the game on Steam but there hasn’t been an announcement yet saying how to get this access just yet.

Moonbreaker early access will be released globally on September 29 on PC and Steam.
