Ubisoft Extreme Sport Game Steep Free To Play This Weekend

For all of the potential players of Ubisoft’s extreme sports game, Steep is going to be free-to-play this weekend. Starting on Friday, March 10, owners of a PS4, Xbox One and PC can play a free trial of the game until Monday, March 13. The graphic below shows when the game will arrive for which countries and how long you can play it on your game system, whether it be PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Players will get access to the entire game, including locations like the Alps and in Alaska, which is part of a recent free update. The update was supposed to be released on February 10, but it was delayed because “Our teams are always committed to bringing the best experience possible to all players. With this in mind, we are postponing the launch of our Alaska free game update,” according to Ubisoft at the time. The game itself allows you to play extreme sports like skiing and snowboarding in an open-world, sandbox like world.

Along with the free game play, players will get the ability to dress in custom gear, grow the athletes reputation by competing in challenges, receive invites to sponsored events and even tackle some of the high heights and the more dangerous courses, according to the official website.

There are also several discounts during the free event for the full version of the game. The standard edition of Steep will be 50% off during the free weekend. The gold edition will be 40% off on the Xbox Live until Monday, March 13 and Monday, March 20 for PS4. Ubisoft will discount both editions by 50% until Tuesday, March 14.

All process you make during the free weekend will be transferable into the full game if you decide to buy it.

Steep launched last December and has been updated multiple times. In addition to the Alaska DLC, the game has added new camera angles and the ability to record replays without the use of the HUD.

I'm a big Pokémon fan, so I'l spend a lot of my time playing that. Other than that, I love sports, particularly the Charlotte Hornets and the Carolina Panthers. No matter how bad the team is, I will always rep them.
