Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion Coming to PC and Switch in April

Funky action-adventure puzzle game, Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion, is going to be here soon. This indie title is coming from developer, Snoozy Kazoo, and publisher, Graffiti Games. Looking at just the title itself gives a good idea of what players will be in for.

In Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion players will control the protagonist, Turnip Boy, as he, like the title suggests, commits tax evasion, and is thus removed from his home. From there, players will have to undertake a massive quest in order to pay back their taxes to the so-called Mayor Onion. As players advance through their journey they will uncover “what’s spoiling this garden community and rise to tear down the corrupt vegetable government!” They will meet other vegetable citizens who have their own complaints with Mayor Onion and his exuberant tax rates. There will be dungeons full of treasures for players to collect in order to pay back their debt, but there will be hordes of enemies and complex puzzles to get through first. Along the way, players can also try their hand at gardening to acquire plants to aid them in their quest as well as destroy any tax documents they find along the way in order to erase their paper trail. There are multiple endings available for players to unlock based on how effectively they can commit tax evasion.

Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion is coming to both Steam and the Nintendo Switch this April. However, if that is a little too long of a wait, there is a demo currently available on Steam.
