Tunche’s Long Awaited Arrival is Here

Tunche is a brawler-style combat adventure game where you must save the Amazon rainforest from the different enemies lurking there and discover what secrets the forest keeps hidden. The game was developed by LEAP Game Studios, an indie video game company based in Peru that first started working on Tunche back in 2017 and was published by HypeTrain Digital. Since then, Tunche has gained many fans throughout its development who have anticipated its release on Nov. 2, 2021, where it is currently available for the PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Switch.

Throughout the game, there are four different hand-drawn worlds that you can explore that have their own enemies, bosses, and storylines in their respective areas. You can play as one of five other characters to help you fight your way through the game: Rumi the sorceress and the game’s protagonist, Pancho the musically gifted, Oaru the tiny but fast bird boy, Nayra the woman warrior, and Hat Kid from the game A Hat in Time. Each character has their own fighting style, where you can discover their strengths, weaknesses, and unique abilities while you engage in battles.

When it comes to combat, enemies will get stronger as the game progresses, so you will need to level up your character and team to increase your chances of defeating the enemies. You can do this by unlocking items to upgrade your character’s skills, fighting abilities and discovering new moves. If the enemies get too challenging or if you like teaming up with friends to take down bosses, the game also supports multiplayer functionality, where you can team up with three other people in remote co-op through a shared or split-screen.

You can purchase Tunche on Steam, Microsoft Store, Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, and Epic Games Store for $19.99. Currently, the game is on sale for $16.99 until Nov. 9, 2021, as it was released with a 15% discount on its launch day. Additionally, a support pack that includes Tunche’s original soundtrack, an official art book, and the entire game is available for purchase if you would like to support the developers.
