Developer ACE Entertainment has taken some beloved character from their farming sim game Tales of Seikyu and set them off on a new adventure. Characters Seabert and Kon have turned their fictional world of Seikyu into a popular travel destination with their photography that has been featured in magazines and newspapers. Rather than focusing on creating a functional farm and community, they have invited outsiders to go on an adventure to see the beauty of their land as they do.
Seikyu Let’s Go! simulates what it is like to pack a vehicle up with friends and explore. Hop into a campervan alone or with up to three other friends to go on a roadtrip like no other on “the magical wilds of Seikyu.” Here, you will have to navigate winding roads that could be dangerous, solve puzzles with the help of your friends, forage for food, and much more.
With various biomes to traverse through like “dense forests, scorching deserts, snowy peaks, and foggy bogs”, the difficult landscape may have you question the point of getting your van across them. However, the stunning photo opportunities are more than worth it.
As you progress further into the game, you have the chance to customize your van how you choose to make it as comfortable as possible. There are hundreds of way to express yourself, and if you choose to bring friends along, they can join in on the decorating. The van may not always work, but it can certainly always look adorable.
Although this is a cozy simulation, there is some realism packed into here. Traveling with friends is fun, but once you start to get hungry and exhausted, your characters need to rest and reset to continue on their journey.
