The publishers of the Tomb Raider franchise, Square Enix London Mobile, released a teaser trailer today showcasing their newest addition to the franchise which will be brought to mobile, Tomb Raider Reloaded. Square Enix published other fan-favorite games such as Marvel’s Avengers and Final Fantasy XiV Online. The trailer for the upcoming game is linked below, and as of right now is the only source of information about the game.
One thing can be certain about Tomb Raider Reloaded, it will be packed with all sorts of unique foes that Lara Croft will have to battle to make her way through the mysterious new temple all the while avoiding an innumerable amount of traps. From what can be seen, Croft’s enemies will be packs of jungle wolves, hordes of giant venomous spiders, giants made of stone( most likely some form of golems), and a prehistoric Tyrannosaurus Rex. Yet, everything Lara Croft has experienced in the other Tomb Raider Games may have just been a snowball compared to the avalanche of danger and mystery that Tomb Raider Reloaded brings to the table. Lara Croft’s mission looks to be focused on retrieving a circular golden disk; its importance is yet unknown.
With a more child-friendly type look, Tomb Raider Reloaded may not give off the same intense gameplay that some fans of the franchise may be accustomed to. Yet, to say that the graphics will in any way take away from the game’s story and action has yet to be seen. From what can be seen Tomb Raider Reloaded looks like it will be action-packed and full of thrilling adventure that life long fans should find enjoyment, and also have the ability to bring in a new generation of Tomb Raider Fans.
