Tomb Raider and Just Cause Included in “Stay Home and Play” Bundle

As people continue to practice social distancing due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Square Enix is releasing a “Stay Home and Play” Bundle on Steam that includes over 50 games. Most recently, this bundle has acquired fan-favorite titles such as 2015’s Rise of the Tomb Raider, Life is Strange 1, and 2 and Just Cause to its collection, which is selling for the discounted price of $39.24 USD. Originally, buying all of these games separately would add up to a whopping $745.00 USD. As other people have figured out, duplicates that are already owned will not be charged a second time if they are not included in the bundle. This offer is available from now until May 11th.

On top of having so many titles at a low price, Square Enix has also said that “A full 100% of the Square Enix revenue from these bundles will be distributed across North America and Europe, including food banks and more.” This is not the first time Square Enix has put together an effort to encourage video game lovers into social distancing, as they also made Tomb Raider and Lara Croft’s Temple of Osiris discounted and free to keep for a limited time as well.

At the same time as Square Enix compiling all of these games into a convenient bundle, GOG has also put good number of their titles together for players to purchase at a discounted price. As concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic continue, many game makers try to ease the burden off of people who are practicing social distancing to slow the spread. Mobile games like Pokemon Go are making it easier for players to still participate while not leaving their houses, and other games such as Halo and Grand Theft Auto are donating their in-game proceeds to helping those affected financially and physically by the virus.
