Telltale Games has shared the new trailer for the next episode of their ongoing Batman series, Batman: The Enemy Within. Episode 3, titled “Fractured Mask”, looks to make things even worse for our protagonist, as he gets caught up in a more and more complicated web of deception and danger.
Following an unexpected reunion in the previous episode, Bruce finds himself tangled up with yet another dangerous personality in an old acquaintance. All the while, Harley Quinn continues to wreak havoc, and John Doe becomes more and more Joker-y by the minute. With so many villains about, the player will need to be particularly tactful in their interactions to keep Bruce safe.
Of special note in this trailer is that Batman, as the masked vigilante, does not show up for even a moment. The entire trailer is only Bruce Wayne, as Bruce Wayne, working and fighting through his dangerous world. Even when things get physical with Catwoman at the very end, there is still no mask or cape to be seen. Whether this will actually be a Bruce-only episode remains to be seen.
