In true racoon fashion, players will rummage through trash and find secret passageways. The environment is interactable, containing tapes and items for players to collect. Each mixtape found adds to the soundtrack of their adventure, creating a relaxing musical adventure. Players will delve into a world overtaken by nature, wandering around parking lots and abandoned shops.
The Lost Mixtape is a singleplayer experience that is meant to be short and casual. Vided Studio posted the official announcement trailer on June 29, 2026. The trailer features a 3D art style and an environment in disarray. Trash bags litter the abandoned stores and walkways. Broken down cars are scattered around the area, providing many nooks and crannies for players to search.
The racoon is wearing the headphones and cassette player, adding character and a dash of style. On Monday June 22, Vided Studio announced the official release date of The Lost Mixtape. This racoon adventure will be available on Steam, July 10th, 2026, though no set price has been revealed. The game’s interface, full audio, and subtitles will be fully accessible in English and French.
The developers are also working on a similar animal-adventure game titled Léo. Another exploration type game where the story centers around a squirrel named Léo, living in Montréal. Rather than collecting mixtapes, this squirrel is on a mission to help local animals and earn rewards by completing quests. Players will be able to wander around rooftops, use a skateboard, sneak in through windows, and more. A release date has yet to be announced, but the game will be available on Steam.
