The Falconeer: Warrior Edition Releasing On PlayStation And Switch August 5

Today indie developer Tomas Sala and publisher Wired Production has announced that their critically acclaimed game The Falconeer will be coming to both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, as well as Nintendo Switch in the form of The Falconeer: Warrior Edition on August 5. For those who are unaware, The Falconeer is an open-world air combat game, where players ride on the back of a giant falcon. Players are able to explore the world of The Great Ursee as a variety of classes and experience multiple different campaigns.

The new Warrior Edition contains the standard game with a large number of updates, as well as every DLC pack released since its original launch including The Kraken, The Hunter, and Atun’s Folly. Some of the new changes to the game include re-recordings of significant voice-over work, and a more streamlined prologue tutorial. One of the biggest additions to the game will be the inclusion of the upcoming new expansion, Edge of the World. This new expansion contains its own self-contained narrative, as well as new side quests, map locations, and a multitude of new items. Owners of The Falconeer on Xbox and PC will be able to purchase this new expansion separately when it releases.

The Falconeer: Warrior Edition will release on August 5 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. The game will be available digitally for $29.99 USD on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, and will also retail for $29.99 USD on PlayStation and $34.99 on Nintendo Switch. PlayStation owners will be able to play the game cross-generation at no extra cost. Preorders and wish listing is now available through the PlayStation Store.
