There is a demo out for The DioField Chronicle that will allow players to get a small taste of the story and playstyle of the game before it is released. This demo is out now for those who want to download it. This strategy RPG game is a fusion of fantasy, medieval, and modern elements. The demo is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
The story for The DioField Chronicle is described as,” … an intricate story across its many chapters, filled with rich and memorable characters – and in the demo, you’ll get to see how it begins”. The combat for the game is combining” command-based tactics with real-time action”. The game can also be paused but the enemies will not stop and still make moves.
There are also turrets in this game that will activate the enemies’ base defenses not only that but enemies can also wait for players behind drawbridges and attack them. There are also explosive kegs that can cause a large amount of damage to enemies. The explosive kegs can also stun the enemies which will make them stop their attack. Barricades can also be placed to stop the player but they can be destroyed.
There are three different game difficulties which are casual, normal, and hard these modes can be changed before any level is started. The demo is about 3 hours long but the time can change based on what the player is doing in their playthrough also the players’ progress can be transferred over to the full game once it is bought.
The DioField Chronicle will be coming out on September 22, 2022, which can be played on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
