Today, DONTNOD Entertainment has announced that its latest title, Tell Me Why will be available to get for free during the month of June in honor of Pride Month. “June is Pride Month – a time for LGBTQIA+ communities to celebrate who they are,” DONTNOD said in the press release. “This year, Pride Month comes at a period of intensifying bigotry and harmful legislation against trans, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming people in many parts of the world. This Pride Month, we’re making Tell Me Why free on all available platforms – Xbox consoles, Windows 10, and Steam.” The game is available to download for free from June 1 – June 30, 2021. Downloading the game during this period will give you permanent access to it on the platform of your choice, even after Pride Month is over.
Tell Me Why revolves around twins Tyler and Alyson Ronan as they solve an intimate mystery by using their special bond to unravel the memories of their loving but troubled childhood. The game is set in the fictional town of Delos Crossing, Alaska; features a cast of intriguing, true-to-life characters and mature themes. As you interact with memories of the past, you will make choices that determine the strength of the unique bond that Tyler and Alyson share – and shape the future course of the twin’s lives.
Tell Me Why is the first game to feature transgender protagonist.
The game was released across three chapters last year starting on August 27, September 3, and September 10, 2020, and is available to play on Xbox Game Pass, Windows 10, and Steam.
