Issac is suffering with psychosis and trapped in his own mind. With her reaching out to him constantly but not enough to find out where she is, Issac sets out on a journey to uncover the mystery of his missing love. On the way there, he not only faces the troubles of trying to piece together clues to get to her, but must confront the darkest thoughts and fears his mind holds in his subconscious. “Join Issac in this story of love, loss, fear, and acceptance. His very real diagnosis causes complications for him, understandably so. He has a doctor pushing him to take his medications, telling him they will “help him see”, but every time he does, something strange happens. The world alters into an alternate reality where it gives him the short time span of being able to relive memories, solve puzzles, find clues, and find hidden areas.
The puzzles in this game are sure to have you working hard to find out how they interconnect and what they mean after they are solved.
Along the way, characters who are just as interesting as the main protagonist are available to speak to. Abashed explores mental health and the realities of how difficult the subject is to navigate, especially when going through something as hard as someone you love going missing. Help Issac find the truth about what happened to Cassi, but be prepared, not everything is as it seems.
