Supercell Invites Players to Join Project R.I.S.E Alpha Testing

Supercell’s Project R.I.S.E. is an upcoming mobile game based in the Clash Universe. This social action RPG was announced following the demise of the former Clash Heroes, which apparently hadn’t met Supercell’s growing standards. Project R.I.S.E. is incorporating a few visual elements from Clash Heroes, but everything else has been built from the ground up. In the game, players are prompted to group up in teams of three to explore “The Tower,” with each session taking place on a different floor. The goal of these rounds is to ascend as high as possible with obstacles growing more and more difficult higher up. While the game is set in the well-established Clash Universe, Project R.I.S.E. introduces new characters and environments for players to explore and interact with.

Project R.I.S.E’s pre-alpha phase has drawn to a close, which allowed players to test and provide feedback. The game has already incorporated many changes mentioned by testers, cleaning up user interface, advancing the combat system and game modes, and adding meta-progression features like daily quests and tower upgrades. Supercell has also introduced AI companions to the game for players who long for the tower’s social aspect but lack the required companionship.

Supercell recently announced its upcoming Alpha test, which is set to commence later this month on January 17th, 2025. This test is set to last three days, which makes it the game’s longest playtest as of yet. Potential testers and currently register for the upcoming Alpha test on Supercell’s Alpha Recruitment site, where a survey will ask questions like gender, age, location, etc. The testing is limited, so players need to keep an eye on their emails. If they are selected for the test, Supercell will contact them directly, sharing specific details.

For the first time, this Alpha test will include Android users as well as Apple users. Users with Android devices must have an Android 11 or newer and a minimum of 3GB of RAM. As for iOS devices, users need an iPhone X or later, which are the same requirements as the other Project R.I.S.E tests.

While many video games are available only to those who can afford expensive consoles and computers, mobile games are designed for the average person.
