Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighter is Min Min from Arms

News about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game coming with new fighting characters has been in many fans’ minds for a while now. Wondering if their favorite childhood gaming character was going to join the ultimate fight while beating some of the games’ most iconic characters in history. Due to current events like the Covid-19 pandemic, the wait had to be extended much longer. But it’s now been revealed today who is the next ultimate fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game had a livestream today revealing who would be the next Ultimate Fighter. The director of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game, Masahiro Sakurai, spoke to the audience about the new character coming to this popular game. And he revealed that Min Min from Arms which is Nintendo’s 2017 fighting game for the Nintendo Switch, will be the next fighter coming to the game.

Just like the rest of the fighting characters in Arms, Min Min has a springy and extendable limb. Her attacks entail each of her arms stretching independently and that she can equip each of her arms with one of three weapons which are Megawatt, Ramram, and Dragon, this will give Min Min a variety of ways to attack her opponent very quickly.

To go deeper into who is Min Min really is within the world of Arms. Min Min is an 18-year-old who works at a Mintendo Noodle House. Sakurai stated that Min Min was chosen to be the next Smash Bros. fighter due to the request of the Arms producer Kosuke Yabuki. Another character from Arms named Spring Man was already in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate universe as an Assist Trophy fighter.

Min Min is the first of six additional characters from Arms coming to the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as part of the Fighters Pass Vol. 2. Sakurai stated during the Nintendo Direct Mini presentation back in January that all of the six characters including the new stage and music will be revealed for Ultimate on December 31, 2021.

For now, fans will be able to enjoy a new stage called Spring Stadium and eighteen music tracks from Arms will be coming alongside with Min Min in the new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate which will be released on June 29th on Nintendo Switch.
