Shift Up, the development team behind the original Stellar Blade games is making a comeback to the franchise with RPG Stellar Blade: Bloodrain. The trailer starts in a familiar area with subway like turnstiles. The camera then shifts attention to a new protagonist called Evie, holding a capsule of red liquid.
As she accepts her mission and turns away, Evie jokes that this is where things would go wrong, if she were in a movie. Suddenly, a man begins to mutate, bubbling and exploding with what appears to be blood. Viewers then receive a gameplay preview of Evie fighting this man-turned-monster, in addition to others. It is revealed that Stellar Blade: Bloodrain is still in early production, but Shift Up promises to update fans soon. The trailer is available for viewing below from the GamersPrey YouTube channel.
