Parallel Studio and Quantic Dream revealed a new trailer for their collaborative project Under The Waves, an upcoming narrative-driven adventure game, at Summer Game Fest 2023. Take the role of Stan, a professional diver as he struggles to overcome loss beneath the waves of the North Sea in a techno-futuristic 1970s.
Under The Waves lets players explore a detailed underwater world through the eyes of Stan and encounter wildlife, explore caves, shipwrecks, and underwater plants with a submarine and Stan’s special wetsuit. Unravel Sam’s isolated psyche and find a way to save his life as he relives his tragic past and encounters the “mysterious manifestations of his memories.”
Under The Waves is set to release August 29, 2023 on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Games Store and Steam. Wishlist for Under The Waves are available now.
