With everything going on with Cyberpunk 2077 coming out on September 17 to all sorts of consoles like PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, the developers of Cyberpunk 2077 will have to hold back its release on Google Stadia. While Google Stadia has been through some troubles through the start of its official launch, they are still in high gear when it comes to promoting this well-determined streaming service by still adding some huge new titles that will be released later on in the year. With this news on Cyberpunk 2077 being delayed on their gaming console, developers are still at high hopes even though their competitors will have Cyberpunk 2077 already released on other consoles.
Recently developers at CD Projekt Red made a brief statement confirming the news that Cyberpunk 2077 will no longer be launched on Google Stadia on September 17. They stated that Cyberpunk 2077 will be out on Google’s streaming gaming service “by the end of the year.” SO there is still hope for fans to still be able to play on Google Stadia.
Back in April the developers at CD Projekt Red, Adam Kicinski, made a statement about the recent challenges with getting Cyberpunk 2077 becoming part of the Google Stadia streaming service while having to work remotely. “Our plans haven’t changed – we’re steaming towards the September release of Cyberpunk 2077 (statement doesn’t apply now). There is no shortage of motivation and we also possess all the tools needed to facilitate remote work. We’ve been operating in this mode for over three weeks and to-date results confirm that we can carry on with all-out operations without major disruptions.”
With all the complication that has been happening for the streaming service, Google Stadia still hopes that fans will understand for the sudden delay for Cyberpunk 2077. Cyberpunk 2077 comes out on September 17 on PC. Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, with Stadia and Xbox Series coming out later in 2020.
