Spike Chunsoft’s Third Installment of their Science Adventure Series, ROBOTICS;NOTES ELITE, Revealed During Anime Expo 2019

During this year’s Anime Expo (2019), Spike Chunsoft announced the Western release of the third installment of their Science Adventure series, ROBOTICS;NOTES ELITE. The PlayStation team also recently shared the official Announcement Trailer for the project on their YouTube channel. The developer’s also revealed a direct sequel to the game, ROBOTICS;NOTES DASH, is in the works and is expected to launch next year.

The game tells the story of Kaito Yashio and Akiho Senomiya, the sole members in the Robot Research Club at Central Tanegashima High. The club is facing a mandatory disbandment, however, each member takes the news differently. While Kaito seems more interested in his robot fighting game, Akiho is more determined to save the club from its impending doom. As she continues construction on their club’s giant robot design, the two come across an augmented reality (A.R.) report containing detailed instructions and locations connected to a mysterious conspiracy.

Players will embark on a journey around the island in search of the hidden secrets left behind by Ko Kimijima, the author of the A.R. report. The game features a branching storyline in which players can enjoy multiple playthroughs and various endings for each character. Will you uncover the truth and put a stop to a (possibly) evil plan, which threatens the entire world?

If you haven’t already, you can take a look at the game’s Announcement Trailer below.

ROBOTICS;NOTES ELITE is expected to launch sometime next year in 2020 for both North American and European audiences. The game will be playable on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via the Steam Store. Platforms for the ROBOTICS;NOTES DASH have not yet been revealed at this time. However, players can expect further details regarding the sequel following the release of ROBOTICS;NOTES ELITE.
