Last November of 2015 record label Spacelab9 released the first ever Mega Man record in the form of Mega Man: Best of Mega Man 1-10 LP, with a track listing compiled by the Capcom Sound Team featuring some of the most memorable music from the franchise. Today the music collective announced that a limited deluxe edition will be made available starting January 28th at 1pm on a first-come first-serve basis.
This new deluxe edition, officially dubbed the “Mega Pack” Edition, will come in different colors vinyl styles based on various Mega Man bosses chosen by fans via social media poll, as well as one featuring the Blue Bomber himself. The “Mega Pack” will also include a ton of game-themed goodies available as inserts such as a 18″ x 24″ poster, an identical fully color sticker, and a bag showcasing various action shots of the series. The record comes packaged in a die-cut “vintage NES-styled slipcover”.
Spacelab9 started in 2013 and has put out other releases based on other big name intellectual properties such as The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad and Doctor Who. The official soundtrack for multiple 2008 game of the year award winner Fallout 3 was also released through Spacelab9.
