In a Kingdom far away, at least in Rotten Crown, an upcoming Steam game’s Playtest and Announcement Trailer, there was a King. A King that gathered fruits from bushes. As he was doing that a zombie appeared. The king unafraid simply used the zombie’s hand to throw it away from him. Completing his quest, he then takes his fruits back to a chest where he puts them inside. The king continues his work by mining, hunting and nation building.
Once he’s done he appoints knights, farmers and writers, nurses and others. However, problems come when there’s a lack of everything, and none of the people are able or willing to work. The King comes across a sleeping and obviously slacking farmer and in his rage, he kills the farmer. The farmer turns into a headless and skinless chicken. The King is quite happy with this and hauls the chicken to a zombie and assigns it to be a nurse. He does the same to another zombie and gives him a miner’s cap, to a third zombie, and to a fourth zombie who becomes a guard. Very soon the murderous king has all his land (at least the part on the screen) filled with headless and skinless chickens, and multiple human deaths on his hands, an outcome he’s a little too pleased with. Very soon the sick looking king is running from an army of zombies, who knew the zombies would betray him. But apart from that slight betrayal scene, the zombies grab fruits, get gold, and the people left work together in harmony with zombies to create a utopia, one that’s filled with ominous blood splatters. It makes the King very pleased. It all ends as a human lady is mining, and a hungry zombie comes walking towards her. It spots her as a viable meal, takes off his cap and runs after the lady. Alas it seems this partnership won’t last. Especially when a red moon causes both zombies and humans to run screaming.
