SaGa: Emerald Beyond officially has a release date set in 2024. SaGa: Emerald Beyond, a game being developed by Square Enix is being released on April 25th, 2024. The release date was officially announced from the SaGa Glimmerfest 2023 livestream that took place yesterday. It was also announced on Square Enix’s X page also formally known as Twitter.
SaGa: Emerald Beyond is an RPG game that can be played on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS5, PS4, IOS, and Android. In SaGa: Emerald Beyond players will be able to go on a journey to 17 distinctive “worlds from the Junction, either led by the hand of destiny or by a path forged by your own choices”. There are six characters with different backgrounds and goals who go on “their journey in five unique story arcs”. According to Steam:
they venture to the myriad of worlds for their very own personal reasons: One, a human on a mission to protect the barrier defending his city; another, a witch trying to regain her lost magic while maintaining her disguise as a schoolgirl; and yet another, a vampire lord out to regain his crown and reclaim the throne as the rightful king of his world.
The Gaming Developer Square Enix also released character trailers for two characters in the game, Tsunanori Mido and Ameya Aisling. Ameya Aisling is witch who has kept her identity a secret by assuming “the identity of an 11-year-old schoolgirl named Yumeha”. But when she gets “attacked by an unknown man, Ameya loses her magic power”. The other character that was announced in a character trailer is a man named Tsunanori Mido. Tsunanori has the ability to manipulate kugutsu and is given the responsibility of “protecting the barrier around his city”. Tsunanori is picked “for the cathedral project” to look into “other worlds and to restore order to the spiritual realm”. He goes on a journey along with the kugutsu “to find four elemental spirits to accomplish his task”.
