Rise of The Tomb Raider Gets a Sweet Music Video and Song Written For It

There’s a new music video out, but it’s not your traditional music video released by a big music company. This music video was released on Microsoft’s Xbox Youtube page. This is where beautiful musical creative art and the art of gaming finally collide. The song is by the main singer of an indie rock band that’s been around since 2000 known as Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Her name is Karen O says Gamespot.

The moody song is called “I Shall Rise”. This music video is not only unique and makes us excited for the the upcoming Rise of the Tomb Raider it fits perfectly with the rebooted Lara Croft. The song displays her emotions, struggles, and feelings with an electric guitar background over a saddened female punk type voice. This piece is an eerie, dark, and definitely melancholy piece that will enter through your ears and give you chills inside.

Karen O may sound like a new face to some but she has had a lot of experience writing music. is rather a veteran in writing original music. She has previously written for movies such as Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Where the Wild Things Are, and more according to Gamespot.
