As it is every time they are working on something, one of, if not, the most anticipated game that everyone is waiting for is the next game from Rockstar Games. Back in 2022, the developer confirmed that the next Grand Theft Auto is in development. Reports earlier this year suggest that the game might get released as early as next year. But, the game hasn’t been officially announced until now… potentially. Bloomberg reports that Rockstar Games is planning to announce the next Grand Theft Auto game as early as this week, according to people familiar with its plans.

Next month, in celebration of the developer’s 25th anniversary, the game’s first trailer will be released.
Despite not officially being announced, we already know quite a few details about Grand Theft Auto VI. Reports revealed that the game will feature the series’ first female protagonist alongside a male protagonist. The game brings the franchise back to the Miami-inspired Vice City. We’ve also seen a lot of the game in what’s deemed as one of the biggest leaks in video game history with 50 minutes of footage of the game getting out into the wild from more than 90 videos.
Rockstar blamed a “network intrusion” and said it “will properly introduce you to this next game when it is ready.” Two UK teens were convicted of the hack earlier this year.
Take-Two’s next scheduled earnings report is set for Wednesday.
