Naughty Dog also revealed that they have two new TLOU projects in the works. Now, a new report says that the next game following Intergalactic will be a new Uncharted game.

MP1st is reporting that the next Uncharted game will be a new entry and not a remake. It’s also being reported that Nathan Drake will be in the game in some form. It’s unclear if he will be the main character, or if he would act as a side character, or make a cameo. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End ended with Nathan and his wife Elena recalling their adventures to their daughter Cassie, who may take over the mantle from her father in this new adventure.
Shaun Escayg, who directed the last Uncharted game, The Lost Legacy, and had been at Crystal Dynamics as the Creative Director of Marvel’s Avengers before returning to Naughty Dog, is helming this new Uncharted project.
Regarding Naughty Dog’s plans, MP1st was told that this new Uncharted project will be the next thing Naughty Dog will work on after Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet’s release. Presumably, The Last of Us Part III will be Naughty Dog’s focus after that.
