Remedy Entertainment To Reveal New Title At E3 2018

E3 is right around the corner, and developers are already teasing fans with big reveals for the show next month. Remedy Entertainment, the developer behind Max Payne, Alan Wake, as well as Quantum Break, has announced that they will be revealing a brand new project at E3 2018.

The official title for the project is not out just yet, but it is currently under the codename P7. The game seems to still be in the early stages of development as financial reports for the game states that it is currently set to launch sometime next year.  Also, the developer has ended their partnership with Microsoft and is now ready to bring their game forward with a new publisher. As part of they’re new partnership with publisher 505 Games, Remedy Entertainment also stated that they would be releasing the long teased project on the PlayStation 4.

The last title that Remedy Entertainment release on the PlayStation was Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, so it’s good to see them making a return back to the console. 505 Games is most known for publishing Abzu and Terraria, and they will indeed be in charge of giving us our first look at the P7. The title will be shown in a hands-off fashion to fans and the press at E3. The studio did state that they were interested in developing cooperative multiplayer back when P7 was said to be “in the conceptual phase.”

We only have a little over a month to wait and see if this idea will have a presence in the game or not. However, according a few job listings and product descriptions for P7, the studio will keep their cinematic focus while adding some online elements. Either way, we only have a little over a month to wait until we know what Remedy Entertainment has up their sleeve.
