Release Date and More Details Revealed For Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster

At this year’s Capcom Next digital showcase, the recently-announced Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster revealed its official release date, pre-order bonuses, and more information on what to expect in the new version of the game. The game is set to release digitally later this year on September 19, 2024 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, with a physical edition planned for November.

Capcom also revealed in a press release what new gameplay and content can be seen in the new remaster:

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is a revival of Dead Rising, a title that garnered fans across the globe due to its fresh concept and gameplay experience, developed on Capcom’s proprietary RE ENGINE. By bringing the game to a new generation of consoles, Capcom has enhanced the overall gameplay experience, such as with vastly improved graphics made possible with high-quality modeling, better play controls, and the addition of 3D audio. Further, by including 14 languages for text and 9 languages for voice, Capcom has put together a game that goes beyond a typical remaster and is truly worthy of being called “Deluxe.”

Capcom has also revealed that all NPCs and Survivors in the remaster will have their dialogue be fully voiced for the first time.  Two editions for Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, the Standard and Digital Deluxe editions, are available for pre-order right now, with pre-order bonuses including Frank West, Chuck Greene, and Willamette Parkview Mall Bee Costumes, as well as the Dreams of Yore, Super Shopper, and Happy Flight BGMs.  The standard edition is priced at $49.99, with the Digital Deluxe edition priced at $59.99. The Digital Deluxe edition of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster includes the base game, as well as the following cosmetic expansions:

  • Costumes & BGM: Willamette Parkview Mall Pack
  • Costumes & BGM: Resident Evil Heroes Pack
  • Costumes & BGM: Resident Evil Villains Pack
  • Costumes & BGM: Mega Man Pack
  • Costumes & BGM: Capcom Fighters Pack
