Re: Zero -Starting Life in Another World- Receiving New Tactical RPG

Featuring a unique story based on the first season of the anime Re: Zero, the newest game in the Re:ZERO video game adaptations has been announced. Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- The Prophecy of the Throne’s story will follow the protagonist Subaru and his friend as they search for who might be the impostor candidate of the five who are qualified to inherit the throne.  The game’s official synopsis describes the story, “one month after Subaru’s new life in another world began, an emissary sent by the royal castle suddenly appears with news that the royal selection has been postponed, but offers no reason as to why. The postponement of this grand event that decides the next ruler of the Kingdom of Lugunica stirs Subaru and his friends into action.”

The story line of the game has also been entirely supervised by the series author Tappei Nagatsuki, along with brand new characters and designs from the original series artist Shinichirou Otsuka. The game will play like a visual novel along with tactical-rpg fighting mechanics for in-game combat with enemies.
