Rainbow Six Siege has done an outstanding job releasing a plethora of alternative game modes for players to experience with. One of these game modes was Outbreak, which allowed teams of 3 work together in campaign like missions conquer objectives a fight a raid of alien-infested monsters. The short time event game mode was such a success, E3 revealed Ubisoft would be releasing a new game Rainbow Six Quarantine, that will further expand on the alien-infested universe featuring familiar Rainbow Six operators. Little was known about when it would be released but a financial call Ubisoft partook in has revealed the game will come sometime before April 2020.
The call was discovered by Gameinformer and gave details on what CEO Yves Guillemot stated about the release of the game. Yves said that players can expect Quarantine to be released by the end of the financial year, which means that we can expect it to launch sometime after January and before March 31st. This would give players who are ready for an exciting co-op experienced inspired by Siege’s Outbreak mode much sooner than previously expected.
Outbreak mode created a unique 3-player co-op experience giving players the ability to take a break from the PVP arena and experience a whole different world littered with aliens and zombie like creatures around every corner. Not only that, it provided a taste of Siege’s lore and showed the character of the operators in certain instances. Quarantine looks to expand on Outbreak, breaking away from the short term event and creating a whole new game. Guillemot noted that the game would feature “the proven gameplay of Rainbow Six Siege Outbreak,” and using the focus of Siege’s destructive gameplay and team-based tactics, Quarantine is looking to create an exciting co-op experience.
Still not a ton of information about this title but players will be excited to hear that its expected release date before April is much earlier than previously expected. Stay connected to MXDWN Games for more info on Rainbow Six Quarantine.
