Not only is even more content on the way to Rainbow Six: Siege, but Ubisoft revealed another title to watch out for in 2020 with Rainbow Six: Quarantine. At their E3 presentation earlier today, Ubisoft introduced Quarantine as the next step in the shooter genre with an exciting teaser trailer:
Quarantine will be a 3-player tactical first-person shooter where players can play on a together and for the first time the Tom Clancy brand will take a completely different and somewhat more fictitious route. In this title, Operators in the near future will face a threat that could end the human race. An alien parasite that has begun infecting humans and the environment is spreading, so players and their squad mates must eliminate the invasion of sorts. While still online, the game is clearing striving to be focused on the player versus enemy experience and is one where Ubisoft Montreal is taking the franchise to places where it’s never been before, which opens up future possibilities for games at Ubisoft.
Fans of the presentation were also treated to learned that the longstanding and competitive Rainbow Six: Siege is nowhere near the end of its lifespan. Operation Phantom Sight was shown to be the next chapter in Siege that releases on its platforms tomorrow, June 11.
The Siege team revealed the newest Operator coming with this update, Warden. This soldier is a deadly parody of “iconic secret-agent movies” who looks to pull out the clutch victories with an arsenal of fancy gadgets. From watching the launch trailer, the Warden Collinn McKinley encompasses everything we hope a spy could be: a slick suit, stylish glasses, silencers on his weapons, and of course a moustache. The member of the U.S. Secret Service launches with the update tomorrow.
Rainbow Six: Quarantine won’t be hitting the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC until sometime in 2020, though no exact date has been confirmed.
