Quantic Dream is the developer behind Star Wars Eclipse and Detroit: Become Human. Twitter user AccountNGT, the person that tweeted screenshots of Star Wars Eclipse days before its official announcement on the Game Awards, revealed that Quantic Dream is currently developing a second AAA title alongside Star Wars: Eclipse.

The game is reportedly based on “The Dark Sorcerer”, a tech demo Quantic Dream produced for the PS4 in 2013. The demo video shows a realistic-looking wizard casting magic, right before the camera pulls away and shows that the entire scene is just a film screening. The game is allegedly humor-based, which doesn’t stray far from the intent of the original demo video. The extremely detailed facial structure and object texture shown in the demo demonstrates a technology that was way ahead of its time. However, the company was only able to make a video demo rather than a full game.

AccountNGT said that the game will be even more advanced than Star Wars Eclipse, which is believed to be at least 3-4 years away. All of these are signs that Quantic Dream is planning to put a lot of effort into the development of this project. Industry Insider Tom Henderson revealed a few things on Star Wars Eclipse. Quantic Dream Paris is having trouble hiring new staff partially because of sexual assault allegations made against the company in 2019.
