As PUBG looks to continue growing by bringing more content to their community, they have announced that they will be teaming up with Amazon to bring content from The Boys into PUBG Mobile. The Boys is an Amazon Prime Video series and will be releasing its third season of the series on June 3, right in line with the upcoming collaboration between the two companies.
PUBG Mobile fans can look forward to new items and outfits that will be available to play beginning on June 8. There will also be a new game mode called Supe Spree beginning, in which players will investigate a series of murders with the help of Billy Butcher. According to the press release, the upcoming game mode can be described as follows:
“In the game, a horrifying series of unsolvable murders suddenly grips NYC. The mutilated bodies of Wall Street brokers and their clients begin to appear across the city. The police have no clues and city officials are demanding answers. In order to complete each challenge, players must work with characters from The Boys or their in-game friends to expose the truth. Players will collect evidence, unlock stories and ultimately reveal the superhero behind these heinous attacks to earn Billy Butcher’s Duds.”
In addition to the new game mode and other content, there will also be weekly challenges in theme with The Boys that will last until July 3. PUBG has also collaborated with Webtoon and Blackpink. As many other games continue to bring new content and collaborations, the PUBG community should expect even more events from PUBG in the future.
