PowerWash Simulator: Hands on at Summer Game Fest: Play Days, Leaves Early Access Next Month

At long last, Futurlab has announced that their title, PowerWash Simulator will indeed be leaving Early Access and fully launching next month on July 14. The game has been in Early Access since last year and has only grown bigger and bigger. We got a chance to play it just before the announcement and it’s as fun and relaxing as ever.

We had the chance to clean an entire playground, complete with a massive dinosaur in the center, itself completely filthy. We tried out the Power Wash device and had a blast, no pun intended, cleaning the entire park to near perfection. The game gives you a notification whenever you complete a cleaning on specific areas or objects, which is nice considering that some of these dirty items take a very long time to clean. You can even grab other objects such as a ladder and use it to climb up onto higher areas, such as we did when we used it to go on top of the roof in the playground.

Players can also expect different modes on the washer, some of which are all made for different scenarios and aspects for cleaning. These can be upgraded whenever you complete cleanings with in-game money, and greatly improves the overall performance of the powerwasher. It’s been a long time coming, but PowerWash Simulator will finally be given a full release next month, and with a huge fan following already, it’s only going to get bigger from here on out.

PowerWash Simulator is available now on Steam through Early Access. The game will see a full release next month on July 14 for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X/Series S, and PC through Steam.
