Pokemon Presents returns August 8th, 9 am EST, 6 am PST, 2 pm GMT. The announcement came today directly from The Pokemon Company across their social channels. The video presentation will be 35 minutes, long enough for some detailed filled new announcements.
What exactly can fans expect during the Pokemon Presents stream? There will most likely be new updates for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC, The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk which will bring 5 brand-new Pokemon.
There’s also the upcoming Detective Pikachu Returns, a direct sequel to the 3DS title, which is set to release in October. A presentation during the livestream would be the perfect time to reveal more about the upcoming Switch title. As well, a film sequel to 2019’s Pokemon Detective Pikachu is rumored to be in the works, it’s unclear if any news will come during the presentation, though the lengthy livestream presentation could fit in potential film teaser. There’s also a stop-motion series, Pokemon Concierge, which will arrive exclusively to Netflix later this year, so it’s also possible more info could come during the livestream.
Beyond that, there are only other rumors to be speculated about until the livestream reveals all it has to offer. There’s bound to be updates to the myriad of mobile titles, from Pokemon Go, Pokemon Unite, Pokemon Cafe ReMix, and the recently released Pokemon Sleep.
Fans can watch the livestream directly on the Pokemon YouTube channel when it premieres on August 8th, 9 am EST, 6 am PST, 2 pm GMT.
