Playstation’s New Line of Indie Games set to be released on July 17

Beginning on July 17 Playstation is set to release all new Indie games to its arsenal. According to Playstation’s blog, they will be introducing these twelve new indie games to their digital library:

  • 10 Second Ninja X
  • Cast of The Seven Godsends Redux
  • I am Setsuna
  • Knot
  • Lifeless Planet Premier Edition 
  • Moon Hunters
  • Never Winter
  • Orc Slayer
  • Sword Coast Legends

A few days after the release of these nine titles, Playstation will release Ninja Pizza Girl and Obliteracers on July 20. Spy Chameleon will be introduced one day behind those on July 21.

10 Second Ninja X is a simple yet difficult game. The objective here is to destroy all the robots in ten seconds. As you progress through the game the levels will get much more difficult. The ultimate goal for this game is to stop Captain Greatbeard. Currently you can download the demo from their website, or on Steam.

Cast of the Seven Godsends Redux is an old school classic run and gun arcade game featuring four levels of difficulty, six worlds to conquer, twelve mid and end lever bosses, seven armor sets, 35 magic spells, and five weapons.

I am Setsuna is a JRPG style  “yesteryear” game with focus on creating a blend of classic style of storytelling and gameplay. The story follows a girl Setsuna as she embarks on a journey of ultimate sacrifice for her land and people.

Knot features a 3D puzzle game where the player must interlock blocks. One or more blocks stop others from moving, requiring strategy to complete the level. There is a total of 40 puzzles, each with unique difficulties depending on how many moves required to free up all the blocks.

Lifeless Planet Premier Edition is a third person action game set on a distant planet. The main character finds himself saved by a mysterious woman while being pitted against a deadly phenomenon in an abandoned Russian town. This game features an old school sci-fi story with phenomenal environments.

Moon Hunters is a co-op action personality test RPG that has a different environment every time you play. The game features over one hundred different locations and landmarks, each of which help create a more riveting story. The main aspect of this game is the fact that its not linear. Meaning, the game changes as the player chooses different ways to progress through the world.

Never Winter is a free to play action MMORPG based off the well known game Dungeons and Dragons. The game boasts its  stories, combat, and classic role playing all while giving the D&D feel that players enjoy.

Orc Slayer is a game with only one mission, killing Orcs. Using a crossbow, players will travel around obliterating any Orcs in their way. The game is a first person shooter set in a semi- medieval time period.

Sword Coast Legend is another D&D style game being brought to the PS4. The game is an all new style which allows for the unique storytelling of D&D with the added benefit of being able to not play with a group of people in one place. This game has many features displayed here.

Ninja Pizza Girl began as a Kickstarter in 2014 and is now expecting to be released on the PS4. This game features a girl named Gemma working as a pizza delivery ninja. Gemma is pinned in a fight with evil corporations who continue to put down the poor. Gemma must get high quality pizza to those in need.

Obliteracers is an award winning race game which allows for up to sixteen people to race in a single game. Players have the ability to go to different planets to race with the option of blowing each other up in the process through the use of power-ups.

Spy Chameleon is a massive puzzle game where players must use their chameleon abilities to discretely get through levels. There are five missions and seventy five levels of which players must hone in their inner spy.

All of these games will be available through the Playstation Store.
