Overwatch is soon to release a new event. Starting next week, Overwatch: Year of the Rooster will be released. The release in nationally relevant because starting Saturday, January 28, the Chinese New Year will start, with 2017 be the Year of the Rooster. According to Chinese Travel Guide, the Fire Rooster, representing the births of people born in 1957 and 2017, is described as “Trustworthy, with a strong sense of timekeeping and responsibility at work.”
Year of the Rooster is due January 24. Other that the new Mei skin shown in the promotional image and the D.Va skin, both shown below, there has been nothing else known about the release. The new Mei skin and the D.Va can be seen below. The new Mei skin is also believed to be the new legendary that Blizzard announced back in December.
