Ooblets Arriving on Epic Games Store and Xbox One

The latest trailer for Ooblets may have released just last week, but the colorful 3-dimensional world of Ooblets will soon be arriving on Xbox One consoles and the Epic Games Store via PC. Earlier today, the Ooblets team shared on the game’s website that the release date and early access for the game are on their way. Ooblets places players in the town of Badgetown where they will be able to have variety of unique Ooblet villagers come and live in their town. The Ooblets can take a variety of forms, and the game’s official website has a list of all available creatures that can visit upon the game’s release. Much like Nintendo’s Animal Crossing series, players will take control of their own homes as they customize their characters, houses and meet a variety of new city-dwelling Ooblets. As player’s farms grow so will the population of the town and the available Ooblets that will want to come visit.

A variety of features will be available upon the game’s release including the fishing, dancing, and decoration abilities for players’ farms. Players will be able to travel across the world collecting numerous seeds that can be grown on their farms. Traveling around the town will also allow players to find items like furniture, plants, and unique Ooblets. The game will be launching in single-player mode only initially, but the studio has announced on their website that they plan to implement multiplayer later in the game’s development life. The Ooblets website also features FAQ and glossary available that lists current content and mechanics for the game. Ooblets will be released for Early Access on July 15th for the Epic Games Store and Xbox One.
