Omni Hunter Is A Free-to-Play Browser Game About Annihilating A Demonic Organization

Made for the 41st anniversary of Ludum Dare, Oni Hunter is a free browser game about taking on the role of a futuristic ninja employed to annihilate a demonic organization located in Neo-Tokyo.

You’re surrounded with a band of opponents who are well prepared and ready to destroy you as soon as you attempt to strike back. Taking precautions into your own hands is paramount, and a stealthy approach will often be in your best interest. Clean every floor in one strike, or you’ll often be detected. With an organization out to get you, you’ll have to be keen at defeating the boss, who’s meagerly enjoying his life at the top floor of an extraordinary building.

Utilizing a mix between stealth and puzzle mechanics, players will need to make sure they can clear rooms in one fowl swoop. Considering this is a browser game, the control are very simple, it and should be easy to pick up no matter what set up you’re working with. The game contains four different types of enemies, including The Blind One, who cannot detect you, and is often an easy target. The Agent can detect you, on the other hand, and alerts all other enemies around him if you manage to dash through his sight, so take precaution when you spot one. The Tank is an enemy you’ll need to destroy in order to progress. Breaking his armor will be necessary, or you won’t be able to kill him. This takes tackled precision and quite the calculated approach, so be sure to plan accordingly before moving passed them. The Boss is the most complicated and difficult enemy as they can change position after each hit they receive, so both patience and diligence will be needed to take them down efficiently.
