Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir Demo Releases on PS4 with Revamped Graphics, Improved Framerate and All Five Characters

Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir has undoubtedly been on the minds of many an Atlus fan since its announcement last July. It’s a remastered edition of Odin Sphere, Atlus’ cult hit RPG/belt scrolling beat-em-up hybrid that features a bounty of new features, like improved graphics and expanded content. Most importantly, the original game’s notorious framerate issues have allegedly been addressed.

And now, you can try demo of what Leifthrasir has to offer for free, provided you have a PlayStation 4. The demo – which clocks in at only 521MB of storage – allows players to play as all five characters: Velvet, Oswald, Cornelius, Gwendolyn, and Mercedes. You’ll only be able to play one level, but with each of the above characters, you’ll get a smattering of new experiences with each playthrough.

The Vita demo is slated to arrive on May 31 this month.

And if the demo is enough to get you excited for the full release, there’s no need to fret. Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir will release on June 7, 2016, on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Vita for North American regions. Europe will get the game on June 24.
