No Man’s Sky Developers Come out with Bite-Sized Game “The Last Campfire”

The developer of No Man’s Sky, Hello Games, has put forth their new project titled The Last Campfire. This little game’s reveal trailer was shown as a “short” which could imply it’s not as large of a game as most might see. “Like Pixar shorts it’s a way to foster creativity and new voices in the studio,” explained Hello Games’ Sean Murray.

The trailer shows off what could possibly be an online co-op game, where players take on the roles of small sock-puppets known as ‘Embers’ to team up together to solve the puzzles that the game has to offer. With a rather cute visual style as well as an interesting way of presenting a visual story, the game is reminiscent of the vibe Journey had back when it first came out.

There is no date for when the game will be released, but check out Hello Games’s Twitter for more information.
