It’s important to note, as it was also mentioned by Nintendo themselves, that this will only be about Nintendo’s third-party publishing partners. That means titles that aren’t developed by any of Nintendo’s first-party or any of their immediate subsidiaries, and it will only be about other companies and their own IPs that are being developed for the Nintendo Switch. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t expect a surprise or two, just don’t anticipate anything from Nintendo’s own IPs during this event.
That being said, this Nintendo Direct Mini is most likely going to be chalked full of major developers and some of their own IPs. Some of these well known Nintendo collaborators include Capcom, Square Enix, Sega, and Team Cherry. Some of the potential titles we could see tomorrow is some more gameplay from the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion, Bayonetta 3, the unannounced Tactics Ogre: Reborn which could see a release for the Switch, and Hollow Knight: Silksong which was already shown during the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase. These and some other interesting appearances are sure to make the event one of the more interesting ones for the Summer.
The Nintendo Direct Mini will commence tomorrow at 6:00 AM PST/9:00 AM on Nintendo’s official YouTube channel.
